Growing mid-sized local Westfield music school seeking voice, woodwind and piano teachers for all ages and levels. Should have teaching experience and a degree in music, or be working toward one with commensurate experience. We are looking for someone with afternoon availability on weekdays between 3 and 9 and/or Saturdays between 10-3. Some students are already scheduled to start.

We are currently accepting applications from teachers residing in NJ for the following instruments

Voice/Singing (Musical Theater and Pop) - Please have knowledge of speech based singing technique. Estill Training or knowledge a plus but not necessary.

Group rock band classes for ages 4-7 and 7-12 - Candidate must be comfortable playing guitar and singing while leading a very beginner group in a band. Guitar knowledge of open and power chords ok.

Some students are in the studio and ready to start working with a teacher - we also have wait lists for students in almost all instruments. We would love to work with the right person who is enthusiastic, and we are happy to train the teaching curriculum and best practices!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
