SUMMARY: Assist in the reconciliation of official mutual fund accounting records to our accounting system; Assist in the financial statement/quarterly report review process.

ESSENTIAL TASKS include the following; other duties may be assigned.

· Daily reconciliation to the accounting system (Advent APX)

· Reconcile records of third party administrator (State Street Bank) to internal accounting records (APX)

· Reconcile cash positions for each of the Funds and report cash availability to Portfolio Managers

· Reconcile subadvised account records with third party custodians

· Prepare expense invoices to be paid by the Funds

· Assist in the review of financial statements/quarterly reports of mutual funds

· Review of various marketing materials for the Funds

· Monthly reconciliation of internal records with official State Street records

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

· 5+ years of experience in mutual fund accounting

Knowledge:

· Knowledge of fund accounting rules and practices

· Understanding of basic accounting principles

Skills and Abilities:

· Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word

· Effective written communication required

· Ability to work in a Team

· Ability to work productively under time constraints

· Ability to prioritize several different tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
