We are currently accepting applications/resumes for an
EXPERIENCED Natural Gas Mechanic for Offshore and the Broussard, La and surrounding areas. Duties/Responsibilities may/may not be limited to the following:
- Job Scope:
- Work on equipment as needed
- Maintain, trouble shoot and repair natural gas engine and compressor packages.
- Required Skills:
- MUST have Natural Gas experience (2-3 years required)
- Must have diesel & natural gas engine /compression experience.
- Hydraulic/Pneumatic experience preferred, but not necessary
- Strong technical aptitude
- Problem-solving skills
- Diagnostic skills
- Wide knowledge base
- MUST be able to use hand tools efficiently
- Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ideal candidate will be working on heavy equipment
- Ideal candidate will maintain, trouble shoot and repair natural gas engine and compressor packages.
- Ideal candidate will inspect, keep up and repair diesel engines
- Ideal Candidate will be responsible for routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts
- Follow a checklist of inspection procedures
- Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
- Must have good endurance
- Will be required to bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, and crawl to perform task
- Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
- Documents Required:
- Driver's License/Identification Card
- Social Security Card/Birth Certificate
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Must be able to provide own PPE (hard hat, steel toes, safety glasses, gloves)
- Pay:
- Starting at $25-$30 per Hour (DOE)
- Weekly Pay
- Pay schedule: Monday - Sunday
