Overview
Live and work in the beautiful mid-Atlantic
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced neonatal nurse practitioner to be part of the neonatal and newborn team at Inova Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, VA.
About the position
- Responsibilities include covering the 35-bed newborn nursery with an ADC of 18, attendance at routine c-sections and deliveries above 32 weeks, and assistance in the NICU as needed
- Coverage is four 10-hour day shifts and every other weekend, back up call for nights only
- Neonatologists inhouse 24/7
- Strong emphasis on family-centered care as well as quality and safety initiatives
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an NNP

Effective November 1st, 2021 Pediatrix will require all employees and new hires to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they qualify for an approved medical and/or religious exemption.
Must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing
