Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced neonatal nurse practitioner to be part of the neonatal and newborn team at Inova Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, VA.

About the position
  • Responsibilities include covering the 35-bed newborn nursery with an ADC of 18, attendance at routine c-sections and deliveries above 32 weeks, and assistance in the NICU as needed
  • Coverage is four 10-hour day shifts and every other weekend, back up call for nights only
  • Neonatologists inhouse 24/7
  • Strong emphasis on family-centered care as well as quality and safety initiatives
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an NNP
