Job description
- 5+ years experience designing and deploying computer network technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, etc.
- Strong foundational understanding of networking theory, including OSI model, dynamic routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and/or RIPv2
- Experience in Software Defined Network (SDN) technologies such as Cisco ACI, OpenFlow, VMware NSX-T, etc
- Strong communication skills, good organizational skills, and ability to problem solve
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IAC) or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) code to support network deployments, operations and/or maintenance.
- TS/SCI Clearence.
- Experience with server and storage provisioning, including virtualization techniques (VMs, containers, VSAN, etc)
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Advanced degrees (eg: M.S.) and/or advanced industry certifications (eg: CCIE), achieved or in-progress
Level of Autonomy
Work is accomplished without considerable direction. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria in obtaining results. Exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment. Takes calculated risks with consultation from the expert.
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Bachelor's Degree Information Technology required
Master's Degree Computer Science preferred
Work Experience
A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in a related field required

As a network engineer you are focusing on being less wrong and providing outcomes of value to our product and stakeholders. A network engineer on our team is comfortable being given a problem space and iterating in the solution space to provide the best outcome of most value. This person will work as part of a product focused startup, to ensure software products are built and delivered of the highest quality. Job Responsibilities
- Lead network engineering efforts for product enablement, including mentoring junior engineers
- Design, build and test advanced network scenarios (ie: 'expert level moves') for validation and enhancement of Artificial Intelligence models
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code automation for networking activities, such as discovering or registering network nodes
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise to developers, data scientists, product leadership and others for networking and network security
- Act as an end user for UX design considerations through stakeholder interviews and user stories
- Configure on-prem, cloud, and hybrid IT environments for product development, testing, and deployment
- Generate and execute test plans for AI model validation on realistic environments, including creation of realistic network events (security attacks, outages, traffic surge, etc)
- Configure heterogeneous network devices from OEMs including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, NVIDIA, Dell, VMware, PAN and others
- Deploy WWT networking products into private and federal customer environments, including classified DoD environments
