Job Title: Network Security Engineer

Overview:

This position will be responsible performing engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of data networks and security solutions for our customers. As a member of our network and security practice, individual will participate in a combination of project delivery and pre-sales activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implementation, assessment, and support of the following technologies:
  • LAN switching including campus and data center
  • WAN routing technologies including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIRGP
  • Security Infrastructure including next-gen firewalls, IPS/IDS, SEIM, VPN, Incident Monitoring, ISE, and Identity/Access
  • Network load balancing and optimization appliances
  • QoS and network policy
  • Network management, packet capture, and analysis
• Maintain advanced level certifications, knowledge, and capabilities in the latest network and security technologies and trends
• Assist Sales team providing consultative advice to customers for solutions and recommendations
• Development project estimates, scope, and statements of work in presales capacity
• Provide excellent communication and documentation skills delivering design, planning, recommendations, and asbuilt documentation and drawings

Education and Experience:

• 3+ years of networking experience; implementing, analyzing/assessing, troubleshooting and supporting networks
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• CCNP Route/Switch or Security is preferred
• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba, etc is required
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for learning new technologies
• Ability to make customer presentations on technology solutions
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and work well with teams
• Document experience with Visio, Word, Excel
• Some travel may be required
