NextGen Support Specialist
COVID vaccine will be required unless medical / religious exemption. The IS support specialist will provide high-quality end-user NextGen support that includes, but is not limited to, utilizing a technical skillset that includes advanced troubleshooting. This role balances numerous priorities across escalation channels, including email, instant messaging and in-person requests as needed. Salary approx. $80k.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide NextGen EHR support to new / existing employees
- Answers technical support calls and works cases in a high-volume call center environment. This includes but not limited to, providing support to end users, troubleshooting issues and identify training opportunities via remote connection.
- Communicate and recommend complex business process, procedures, and diverse information to resolve issues.
- Provide knowledge transfer and supports users on installed software.
- Identify and escalate priority issues as necessary
- Assist with upgrades of application(s).
- Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 + years of experience in Customer Services / Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Experience working in the medical / healthcare / HIT industry
- Must be personable, communicate well, display patience and the ability to provide assistance to computer users on technology
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
- Ability to work on-call for emergency support on a rotational basis
- Proper phone etiquette with the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately Microsoft O365 literacy (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
- Within 90 days of starting, must take and pass NextGen Certified Professional Exam (If not already certified)
- Education:
- Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school): or Work Equivalent
Desired Qualifications:
- Broad technology background which may include T-SQL, RDP, Active Directory, Crystal Reports, IMO, Azure, Proofpoint, Citrix, soft phones, Zoom, proprietary software troubleshooting, and data analysis
- working with Electronic Health Records systems (preferably NextGen) or similar experience
- Familiarity with Medical Office terminology
