A special kind of hospital for a special kind of patient......Centra Specialty Hospital in Lynchburg, VA, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant who is interested in providing care for patients on our 36-bed long-term acute care hospital. CSH specializes in the care of patients with complex extended medical problems such as trauma, ventilator dependency and complex wound management. They are referred for continuation of acute medical care because of severity and complexity of their medical condition that prevents them from being discharged home or transferred to a rehab unit or skilled nursing facility.

• Monday-Friday, day shift hours, minimum weekend hours
• No call

Critical care experience preferred. Vent management experience highly desired.
