The Nurse Director of Clinical Quality Management will join a hospital that offers a wide array of inpatient and outpatient services to the region. Cardiovascular Services and Neurosciences, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, Wound Care and Oncology – all are available at this outstanding medical center in the beautiful lake and river lands of Eastern Texas.

The Quality Department at this facility has one of the most robust analytics and informatics programs in the region. The Quality Management Nurse Director will oversee these programs in the pursuit of maintaining current standards and Accreditations while striving to enhance and improve the program. This person will get the chance to work with Nursing and Ancillary Leaders, Informatics Experts, and Quality Outcomes teams in the collection, synthesis, and reporting of mission critical knowledge throughout the hospital and the region.

Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Quality, Risk, and Safety, the Clinical Quality Management Nurse Director will take responsibility for a complex set of operations and activities that have far reaching implications. This is a very visible role in the hospital and health system, as this person will have frequent opportunities to present data, strategy, conclusions, and recommendations to Senior Leadership. Supporting you in this task will be an amazing team of analytically focused Quality Analysts and Regulatory Compliance Specialists.

The Quality Management Nurse Director will be taking on a new position, focused on establishing the programs and process standards that will allow this hospital and health system to meet its Clinical Quality goals and Regulatory requirements. This person will serve as the content and process expert for logical construction and reporting of quality and accreditation data throughout the region. These analytical ‘products’ and programs will guide this health system’s responses to regulatory compliance, reporting, and reimbursement programs, as well as physician profiling and professional practice evaluation agencies.
