Our Yakima Pediatrics clinic is seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor who will promote and restore patient’s health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area. Position will focus on administrative nursing, with some staff/floor nursing responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate will work independently, exercising judgment and discretion, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, plan and manage time and projects efficiently, interact with a diverse group with tact and diplomacy, handle a high-volume work load, prioritize multiple demands, and organize with detail and accuracy. The position is full-time (40 hours), Monday through Friday.
Job duties include:
- Identify areas of risk and take measures to improve quality.
- Oversee, direct, and develop nursing staff.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary professionals to promote best practices.
- Develop clinical policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an approved nursing program required.
- WA State RN license required.
- Three (3) years nursing experience required.
- Demonstrated Leadership abilities required.
- Experience with Community Health Centers preferred.
- Administrative nursing experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Ability to navigate the Internet and MS Office programs.
- Working knowledge navigating and documentation using EHR technology.
- Current driver’s license and auto insurance required.
