POSITION:
We are looking for a part time Office Assistant who will be responsible for keeping the front and back office running smoothly and providing concierge style customer service to ensure our clients are happy. There is only one service provider so this is a relatively quiet job with a slow pace so this would not be a good fit for candidates who prefer a fast paced environment.
SCHEDULE:
This role is approximately 15 hours a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am-4pm, and Mondays OR Saturdays from 10am-1pm. Some weeks might have varying hours so candidates with some scheduling flexibility preferred.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
-Managing appointment schedule
-Greeting all clients in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner
-Answering phone calls
-Fulfilling product orders
-Maintaining a clean and welcoming office environment
-Managing emails and assisting clients with service and product related issues
-Preparing and cleaning treatment room before and after services
-Ordering and setting up client refreshments and/or staff meals as needed
-Ordering and maintaining inventory
-Managing office files: organizing, scanning and filing
-Assistance with other miscellaneous tasks as needed
-Various projects as needed including social media and other marketing, product development, and blog
-As part of a small business, you will be required at times to perform duties outside of your regular job description including preparing blogs, posting on social media, and running errands. You should be willing to take initiative and step in with a good attitude to perform whatever duties that may arise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-High school diploma required
-Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and evenings
-Ability to lift 25lbs
-Ability to communicate proficiently and professionally in English (verbally and in writing)
-Punctual and reliable attendance
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (grammar and punctuation must be VERY good)
-Attentive to detail
-Open attitude and willingness to help with whatever tasks may arise
-Must be able to provide a professional reference and a personal reference
