Job description
We have an immediate need for an Office Assistant/Customer Service Rep/Dispatcher to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a position doing a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Word, Excel and Quickbooks, be detail oriented, and able to multi-task in an open office environment. A substantial part of the job will include talking on the phone. Experience in a similar type role in a trade related industry is desired, but not required.
Position Summary: To assist with administrative functions such as: answering phones, scheduling appointments and dispatching technicians; performing general office and bookkeeping functions. Provide administrative support to entire company as needed using a variety of computer and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of related experience working in an office
- Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Computer skills-keyboarding & 10 key
- Basic accounting skills, being familiar with QuickBooks is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in an open office environment
- Geographical knowledge of Fannin County and surrounding areas.
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task with interruptions
- Able to answer multi-line phones
- Intermediate computer skills (proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Essential Duties:
- Answer the phones
- Perform outstanding customer service
- Assist in dispatching service technicians or assisting the service technician when needed
- Place orders with vendors as directed
- Maintain filing system
- Prepare deposits
- Post daily payments against accounts receivable
- Process daily paperwork for all jobs including but not limited to input of employee time, processing payments, updating customer files, scanning, registering equipment, etc
- Process customer financing
- Assist owner with written correspondence to vendors & customers as needed
- Process Account Payables & invoices
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
