Office Triage Nurse - Peds

At Columbus Regional Healthcare System we offer professional growth and advancement for every employee. We are looking for an Office Triage Nurse (LPN or CMA) to work in the Advanced Pediatrics office located in Whiteville, NC.
Job Description: Will provide appropriate screening, handling, and routing of all incoming phone calls and ensure patient messages are taken appropriately with pertinent information via phone and/or EMR system. Will evaluate patient needs based on level of acuity; handle prescription refills; and provide timely communication with providers regarding patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Currently licensed by the NC Board of Nursing to practice as a CMA, LPN, or RN.
Experience: No experience required, but previous experience in a medical office is preferred.
