Job description

• Perform multiple data pulls a day from various documents containing patient information to be added onto a shared document
• Schedules Pre-Admission Covid testing and Medical clearance for patients in EPIC
• Update shared the document with call notes (e.g. left voicemail, email scheduling coordinator)
• Adhere to the 3-5 scheduling for Covid testing and 30-day requirement for Medical Clearances
• Responds to patient inquiries about Covid testing and medical clearances
• Contacts scheduling coordinator or surgeon regarding any difficulty scheduling patients or inquiries regarding procedures.
• Update and verify patient demographic and insurance data as needed
• Responds to and handles telephone messages within 24 hours
• Provides vacation coverage and/or cover lunch as needed at the front desk (as needed)
• For weekend front desk coverage answer telephones, register patients, and check out patients
• All other duties as assigned

COVID-19 considerations:
All patients and staff are required to wear masks when onsite. Additional PPE is provided to staff, including goggles, gowns, and face shields.

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical scheduling: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
