General Description of the Job Class

Perform a variety of specialized, complex activities in the coordination of orienting and onboarding new team members across the health system. Strong emphasis on proactive problem resolution and communications.


Duties and Responsibilities of this Level


  • Initiate orientation communications to new team members.

  • Update the orientation platform to reflect current information and dates.

  • Pull orientation attendance and completion reports for compliance purposes and for team member follow-up.

  • Assist with orientation facilitation on a bi-weekly basis.

  • Manage calendar invitations for guest speakers and others involved in the orientation experience.

  • Aid in the execution of onboarding and engagement strategies.

  • Collaborate with the Orientation Program Manager to document orientation and onboarding processes.

  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.


Required Qualifications at this Level


Education


  • Work requires knowledge of basic communication, research, and mathematical principles normally acquired through a high school education.

  • Preferred a Bachelor's and working knowledge of onboarding


Experience


  • Work requires the ability to review, maintain, research, and report on human resource and payroll information/activities generally acquired through five years of related experience.

  • OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred 1 year of human resources or administrative work experience.

  • Preferred experience with orienting and onboarding a new hire.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot, identify improvements, and make simple decisions independently

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, applicant tracking systems, and HR management systems

  • Excellent technological skills

  • Knowledge of orienting and onboarding new hires to an organization
