The Online Banking Specialist I role is responsible for providing administrative and customer support for online banking products and services.

The Online Banking Specialist I role is responsible for providing administrative and customer support for online banking products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processes business online banking requests from branches.
- Answers calls from branches regarding various online banking issues such as authenticator, login and general access issues.
- Performs requested research on Bill Pay items and processes customer disputes received from customer care and branch staff.
- Processes credit returns and notifies customers electronically.
- Fulfills online requests to open new accounts.
Competencies Required:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to navigate banking software applications and systems.
- Excellent organizational and data entry skills, with the ability to multi-task, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Customer service orientation with effective problem-solving abilities and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self starter possessing the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
- Working knowledge of online banking products and services.
- Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years banking or financial services operations or customer service experience with exposure to online banking products and services.
Formal Education & Certification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Work Status:
- Full-Time.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- None.
Travel:
- 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.
Working Conditions:
- Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
