Job Title: Operational Support System Analyst

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA & Plano, TX & St. Petersburg, FL & Little Rock, AR (Onsite Position)

Duration: Full Time Permanent Position

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison with Technology and business areas to coordinate and conduct tests that ensure the reliability, accuracy, and functionality of system changes and/or enhancements.
• Provides analysis to identify business requirements for systems solutions and business processes.
• Provides testing support, understand minimum of one primary product and system within a given line of business.

Responsibilities -

• Assist in documenting and analyzing requirements, information and data.
• May lead projects.
• Prepares current and future state documentation.
• Collaborates with IT teams and business units.
• Performs independently and/or with assistance from team.
• Performs production support triage on transactions involving diverse product portfolio.
• Accountable for on-time completion of assigned tasks.
• Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed quality standards.
• Responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with and without guidance including, but not limited to, defining test plans, creating and executing test cases, identifying expected results, analyzing system test results and troubleshooting defects.
• Research and identify issues, or root cause of issues as reported by the business unit, with limited assistance and works with others to resolve issue and prevent reoccurrence.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in business analysis, testing or policy administration preferably with the applicable systems focus,
• Basic understanding of Life, Health or annuity concepts.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal skills.
• Basic understanding of Agile, business analysis, and/or testing methodology.
• Bachelor degree in Business or related field or equivalent operational experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
