Duties and Responsibilities for the Operations Demand Planner:

• Demand Planning
  • Develop and manage the demand plan for approximately 300 unique SKU’s across multiple levels of aggregation and time horizons.
  • Analyze promotions in trade promotion software and coordinate forecasts with sales team.
  • Work closely with production planning team to support demand plan and resolve potential supply challenges.
  • Continuous improvement to forecasting techniques and accuracy through leveraging all available data.
• Sales Support and S&OP Process
  • Act as a liaison between sales and operations regarding product related issues such as potential shortages, distressed product, discontinued, and new products.
  • Build, analyze, and provide weekly and monthly sales reporting.
  • Support budgeting process for sales volumes and pricing.
  • Analyze forecast to provide key insights and inputs into the S&OP process.
  • Participate in S&OP meetings and contribute to developing consensus forecasts.
• Business Analysis
  • Support data and analysis needs of other internal departments.
  • Work on cross functional teams to support and execute strategic initiatives.

Experience

• 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent collaborative skills with ability to serve as a liaison between multiple departments.

• Experience with demand planning/stat modeling preferred.

Education

• Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field
