Objectives: To ensure proper operation of local facility. Provide excellent customer service by executing deliveries and other requests for service, properly, as scheduled, and in a professional manner. Ensure customer schedules are being met or exceeded. Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse and inventory. Supervise, manage, and schedule facility employees. Manage daily route scheduling, inventory, customer opportunities, and provide excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and manage daily operations and facility employees.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of facility and storage units
  • Provide excellent customer service by executing deliveries and other requests for service, properly, as scheduled, and in a professional manner.
  • Ability to safely drive/operate delivery truck for extended periods of time and in all driving conditions
  • Make recommendations for employee actions including hiring, pay, performance reviews, and terminations.
  • Perform facility opening and closing functions.
  • Ensure trucks and fork lifts are operable and are being maintained properly and in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and balance the employee and delivery schedules.
  • Manage cash in and cash out.
  • Manage customer relationships and resolve customer opportunities.
  • Successfully manage and collect on past due accounts.
  • Manage store inventory. Make recommendations for store maintenance as needed.
  • Work warehouse and route as needed.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives as needed by RVP

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education – High School diploma required.

Experience –

  • Minimum 1 year customer service experience.
  • Minimum 1 year route and/or warehouse experience preferred.

Specialized knowledge and/or licenses

  • Valid CDL - with good driving record preferred
  • Forklift certification
  • Knowledge of area

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a keyboard and telephone number pad.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand for up to two hours.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to see for purposes of reading printed material, responding to students in a training environment, and driving.
  • Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels.
  • Ability to speak so that others will be able to clearly understand a normal conversation both in person and over the phone.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
