About the job

The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with both online applications and animal care. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managerial positions, animal care, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
• Manage the daily functions of the facility
• Manage all necessary state and federal permits while keeping accurate records for all wildlife intakes
• Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
• Manage budget to align with goals of the facility
• Provide assistance with animal care
• Manage the volunteer and internship programs
• Organize and pilot fundraising activities, grant applications, and creating financial reports
• Up hold all safety requirements with proper PPE when dealing with multiple species of wildlife
• Help to manage and oversee social media activities

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a managerial position, preferably with animal care
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in working with non-profit organizations preferred
• Strong ability to multitask
• Comfort working with multiple groups of people
• 1+ years of working in animal care (Preferred, but not required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Weekend availability
