FLSA Classification: Exempt; salaried
Pay Range: $55,000-$60,000 per hour plus competitive benefits
Spanish Bilingual differential: $1,560 per year (as applicable)
Position Type: Full-time / 40 hours per week
Expected Hours per Week: Tues-Sat; 8:00a to 4:30p with the ability to flex hours to accommodate business needs.
Location: Loveland Food Share- 2600 N Lincoln Ave, Loveland CO 80538
Remote Eligibility: Level 2- This position is expected to work onsite but may be allowed to work from home intermittently in some cases.
Summary: Manage operational effectiveness of the facility to ensure efficient and equitable delivery of product to the community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Operations
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company to ensure operational efficiency.
- Observes, analyzes, and responds to fluctuation in availability of product by creating and implementing procedures to ensure appropriate product rotation, equitable distribution, promotion of nutritious selections, and minimal waste while adhering to safe food handling techniques.
- Ensures agency compliance with USDA policies regarding determination of client eligibility and the distribution of TEFAP and CSFP commodities with all sites to include data entry of inventory levels.
- Maintain, develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures to include Master Sanitation logs regularly.
- Coordinate Volunteer staffing to ensure adequate support of day-to-day needs.
- Provides backup support for Food Share Technicians (intake, product distribution, customer service, regulatory compliance, and facility housekeeping) as required.
- Work across departments to execute events, food drives, or daily tasks as applicable.
- Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations to include marketing of the Food Share program to promote public awareness.
- Act as a public relations representative for FBLC to include excellent customer service skills to serve and manage a diverse clientele while maintaining professionalism.
- Safety coordination for facility, staff, volunteers, visitors, and clients
- Participate in FBLC’s Safety Committee and/or designate a member of Operational staff on your behalf.
- Maintain facility and staff compliance with FBLC Safety standards and OSHA regulations to ensure workplace safety. When operating company equipment or vehicles adhere to safety standards and ensure others are as well.
- Report, investigate, and correct any workplace safety incidents as applicable.
- Support, coordinate, communicate, and train on Safety as directed by the Safety Committee Chair and/or Human Resources.
- Maintain work areas to include adequate supplies, information, and resources to support staff, volunteers, and clientele. This includes, but not limited to, community resource flyers, nutritional information and menus, facility closures, and bulletin board updates.
Facility Upkeep
- Perform basic facility maintenance and coordinate necessary repairs and supplies needed to maintain a functioning facility.
- Ensure preventative maintenance of the facility is completed on a consistent schedule.
- Work with outside contractors to ensure good service and pricing for services rendered and maintenance of contracts for routine services.
Management
- Oversee Operational staff to include planning, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management supported through weekly staff check-ins to recognize success and address challenges while providing necessary direction.
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.

Education and Experience: Associate degree in business management or related field, or equivalent of successful work experience.
Pre-employment screening requirements: Ability to pass all pre-screening requirements, pass a WorkSTEPS job-specific test, possess a valid U.S. Driver's License with a good driving record as verified with an MVR check, and possess a current forklift certification or be able to obtain certification at the expense of the organization.
Language Skills and Ability: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language with preference of bi-lingual in Spanish.
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with ability to demonstrate strong Excel knowledge. Experience with Inventory Management and Project Management systems is preferred. Previous experience with Microsoft Navision Ceres 2009 favored. Basic IT troubleshooting helpful.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has direct reports, is responsible for the supervision of all onsite volunteers, manages clients, and must be able to collaborate effectively across locations with various department staff members.
Work Environment: This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
