Our Experts coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams, develop and document requirements, analyze and operationally assess results, and report-evaluate system contributions based on customer objectives. In addition, we offer expertise in reflecting system requirements in simulation, to include System-of-Systems environment validation. This unique capability is a cost-effective approach to assessing capability gaps, supporting technology transition, while ensuring defendable results for our customers..

Description:

CAMO requires a middle-level operations research analyst to perform all aspects of project planning, data collection, organization, analysis and reporting as part of our multifunctional operational team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and solve problems in defense-related areas using commonly accepted operations research techniques.
  • Collect and organize information from a variety of sources, such as testing range instrumentation, platform / weapon telemetry, system logs, and disparate computer databases. Examine information to figure out what is relevant to a problem and what methods might be used to analyze it.
  • Gather input and assessments from various subject matter experts (SME’s) to refine problem definitions and work towards resolution.
  • Use statistical analysis, simulations, predictive modeling, advanced mathematical and other analytical methods to analyze information and develop practical solutions to problems.
  • Advise managers and other decisionmakers on the effects of various courses of action to take in order to address a problem
  • Write test plans, memos, reports, and other documents to explain findings and aid in decision-making.
  • Present your findings coherently and effectively to your peers and decision-makers.
  • Ultimately, work effectively in a challenging and dynamic team environment to assist CAMO in supporting the warfighter.

Qualifications / Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in operations research, industrial engineering, mathematics, statistics or an equivalent.

Pay scale will be related to experience level below:

  • Senior Level: Minimum of 10 years performing operations research tasks
  • Middle Level: Minimum of 2 years performing operations research tasks
  • Junior Level: Completion of appropriate degree and skill requirements

Desired:

  • Current security clearance:
  • Knowledge of military systems.
  • Database, analytic and reporting tool expertise
