Hanford Laboratory and Management Integration, LLC (HLMI) is recruiting for a Operations Specialist, Sr. in Richland, WA.

This position will support Hanford Laboratory Management and Integration, LLC (HLMI). HLMI is located in Richland, WA, and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. The HLMI members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).

Job Description :

Under minimal supervision, assist the 222-S Facility Engineering group to develop and modify preventive maintenance documents (PMID), procedures and technical documents with general supervision. Performs a variety of other duties to assist Engineering Technical Staff as assigned including installation of new analytical instruments, water purification units, chillers and small vacuum pump equipment that support analytical instrument operation and maintenance of equipment that support the analytical instruments.

Responsibilities:

· Under minimal supervision, communicate with instrument vendors to clarify instrument needs for installation, support Work Control Planners for work package development, work with maintenance organization to resolve issues during installation and maintenance of new equipment.

· Assist engineers in field investigations, troubleshooting, and support technical document preparation. Develop and modify preventive maintenance documents (PMID) and other engineering documents in Smart Plant including data collection, data entry, documentation, record keeping, and data trend analysis. Originate procedures, engineering change notices, and engineering data transmittal based on information supplied by others.

· Act as lead coordinator and provide regular and consistent feedback to Engineering management in functional and programmatic areas that support the 222-S facility.

· Coordinates, monitors, and implements an effective assessment program, ensuring assigned management assessments and observation are conducted by responsible managers and an acceptable level of performance is achieved, while maximizing feedback.

· Provides tracking and trending of facility data. Designs, develops, and maintains internal Performance Metrics charts and reports.

· Supports the requirements management program, including the administrative and technical procedure process.

· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in related field and minimum 8 years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Knowledge of MS Office (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, software.

· Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Knowledge of Smart Plant and IDMS.

Annual Salary Range (based on full-time 40 hours per week)

Grade 18: $101,525 - $128,075
