Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County is currently seeking an experienced medical billing and coding specialist. Responsibilities include coding from EMR charts for surgical and specialty services as well as addressing billing issues, including denials. Capability to improve our current billing procedures and contribute to compliant business initiatives.

Knowledge of medical terminology and medical billing experience a plus. CPC or CPC with an Ortho specialty is preferred. Salary based on experience and can be evaluated at interview.

Qualified candidates must possess strong communication skills to be able to speak with insurance companies and patients in a knowledgeable and helpful manner. Candidates must also be able to meet deadlines and complete monthly metrics. A strong desire to succeed and be part of a successful organization is required! Prior billing experience is a plus but we are willing to train if you want to build a lasting career with a top organization.

This position is a full time, Mon-Fri. position, on-site at our Poughkeepsie location.

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
