We are Food Service International (FSI), a subsidiary of Uwajimaya, Inc, a wholesale distributor of Asian products in the greater Seattle area. Since 1988, our company has been committed to supplying restaurants with a complete line of high-quality meat, dry & frozen groceries, produce and nonfood products. Are you ready to join us? This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting the company's products and services and for building relationships with new and existing customers. The main focus is to help FSI customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company. Asian language proficiency is a plus.
This position may require working some non-traditional hours (evening, weekends, and holidays) to successfully meet customers' needs.
- Education - High School diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license required
- 1 - 4 years of sales experience or culinary/restaurant management experience
- In depth knowledge of Asian Food products and Asian language proficiency is a plus
- Flexible schedule and ability to multi-tasks and prioritize.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as customer service and presentation abilities
- Motor vehicle record in good standing
- Problem solving ability and negotiation skills.
- Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products
- Independently lift to 50 lbs. occasionally.
