WAYMORE'S GUEST HOUSE & CASUAL CLUB is hiring for an OVERNIGHT MANAGER.
Located in East Nashville, this 93-room boutique hotel offers travelers comfortable rooms in a neighborhood full of homegrown heart & soul. Waymore's is an ode to the patchwork quilt of east side artists, characters, makers & musicians-behind-the-musicians — a new haunt for long hangs, tall tales & no hard feelings. An exciting work in progress, soon to come are offerings that include a rooftop bar, lobby restaurant & bar, music venue, and retail space.
JOB SUMMARY
The Overnight Manager will be responsible for leading the overnight operations for the Front Office, Valet, Housekeeping, and Security.
What you'll do:
- Support all aspects of the guest experience.
- Organize pre-stay communications and planning, working closely with internal departments to create seamless experiences for guests.
- Check guests in and out for their stay in a confident, professional, and personalized manner.
- Take hotel reservations accurately and efficiently; have a comprehensive knowledge of hotel availability and current rates and/or special events.
- Ensure immediate response is given to any and all guest comments and concerns and assist in implementing corrective measures when necessary.
- Monitor performance, develop strategies, and communicate with team members.
- Open, secure, and balance out shift banks to include the verification of all cash, credit card, and room charge transactions during all shifts.
- Maintain a positive relationship with all employees and guests.
- Audit and correct all guest charges and postings for the day.
- Reconcile daily sales activity and close accounts in preparation for the next day.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports.
- Ensure all calls are answered in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner; maintain an accurate log of calls and ensure completion of all items.
- Maintain accuracy with all accounting and billing procedures.
- Possess fluent knowledge of local restaurants, special events, city attractions, amenities, and directions.
- Ensure open lines of communication with all departments and upper management at all times to ensure all hotel needs are met.
- Collaborate with the operations leadership team to establish department goals and metrics.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work area.
- Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the property.
- Assist in supervising overnight valet and security.

- A plus: You have related experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-end operations environment.
