Position: Packaging operator

Location: Quincy, IL, 62301

Duration: 1 month’s contract

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr.

Shifts: General shift

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Standard Operating Procedures, directions, ns, and guidelines to determine production specifications and information.

· Stop mixing or blending machines when specified product qualities are obtained and open valves and start pumps to transfer mixtures when required.

· Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas, using moving equipment and hand tools as needed.

· All duties performed must follow OSHA safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Quality Assurance (QA) specifications.

· Promotes the Way and Core Values Must have a demonstrated history of safe work behaviour and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures Knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this job include but are not limited to the Ability to read and write.

· Computer literacy, i.e., keyboarding and mouse use.

· Ability to work well as part of a team.

· Ability to drive a forklift. Ability to lift 50 lbs.

· Knowledge and experience in an industrial environment are a plus.

· Minimum qualifications required for this job include a high school diploma or equivalent.
