POSITION SUMMARY

The Packaging Specialist is responsible for executing packaging and labeling tasks under the direction of the Post Harvest Manager and Leads in accordance with state laws, regulations, and Noa Botanicals standards. The Packaging Specialist provides support for all packaging activities: including cannabis flower, cannabis extract, and cannabis-infused products. This individual must be able to multitask, work quickly and efficiently, and be adaptable to changing priorities and tasks as needed. We have a very fast-paced environment as we continue to grow and expand. This candidate must be motivated, trustworthy, and able to operate both independently and within a team environment.

Local applicants are preferred; relocation assistance will not be provided.

Core Competencies (including but not limited to):

• Working knowledge of State of Hawai’i laws, regulations, and rules related to medical cannabis
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and challenging environment
• Ability to work well, individually and in teams, with a diverse group of people. Must have excellent people skills

Education & Background Requirements:

• Must have valid, unexpired, driver’s license
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
• Minimum of 21 years of age as required by state statute
• Must have DOH clearance and fingerprinting, per applicable requirements set forth under state statute
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Packaging experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push & pull 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)
• Ability to sit, squat, bend & kneel repetitively throughout an 8–10-hour workday
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must have reliable transportation and flexibility in scheduling
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Work Schedule: Varies; Monday - Friday; 7:30a – 4:30p (weekends & holidays as needed)

Job Type: Non-Exempt, Full-time

Starting Pay: $14/Hr. ($15/Hr. after successful completion of 90-day assessment)
