The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Paid Media Specialist, Assistant Director.
Applications will be accepted until 3/6/2023.
Orchestrate best-in-class digital media campaigns to attract, engage and enroll right fit' students for Mendoza College of Business's Executive Education Programs. The Paid Media Specialist will function as the primary media buying role within Mendoza's newly formed in-house digital marketing team.
This role/group will be fully supported by, and work closely with Mendoza's Marketing, Content, Data Analytics, Web, and Admissions teams to revolutionize higher education digital marketing..
The Paid Media Specialist, Assistant Director will:
- Work with Paid Media Strategist and extended MGE team to develop a strategic media plan that meets program goals across online mediums (display, video, search, and social) and select traditional mediums (OOH, OTT, Radio, and Direct Sponsorships). Compare and negotiate rates with media partners.
- Work within a project management system (Wrike) to manage campaign setups,
- execution, and optimizations.
- Work with Director of Marketing and Media Analyst to meet key performance indicators by
- conversion stage.
- Collaborate with Paid Media Strategist, PMMs (portfolio marketing managers) and
- Content team to ensure ads are creative and displayed appropriately. Assist in strategy,
- design, and develop lead generation landing pages for digital advertising purposes.
- Monitor results dashboard and direct buy platforms to optimize performance and return
- on investment (ROI). Set up reporting meetings with key stakeholders to report on
- results and discuss optimizations.
- Manage program budgets and monitor media-related monthly invoicing to ensure
- alignment with overall media budgets.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with media buying, planning, and research
- Interest in following advertising and media trends
- Working knowledge of media analytics software (e.g. Tableau/Data Studio)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience as Media Buyer or similar role; experience in digital media is preferred
