Job description

POSITION PURPOSE

The position will be responsible primarily to clean, prep, and paint parts, occasionally help with facilities maintenance, and also be a backup welder. The work will need to be completed in a timely, cost effective and safe manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Paint Prep

2. Loading/unloading material via overhead crane or forklift.

3. Painting (in a booth with proper PPE and HVLP spray guns)

4. Cleaning of spray equipment and general maintenance of the paint booth.

5. Welding (backup to primary welder)

6. Produce quality work while maintaining a high level of production.

7. Sustain procedures that guarantee that work is completed correctly and efficiently.

8. Maintain a safe and clean manufacturing environment.

9. Regularly required to stand, bend, kneel, reach, climb ladders, and move about the facility.

10. Must be able to lift 50lbs safely.

11. Safety (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment must always be used.

12. Maintain a "Customer Friendly" attitude whenever dealing with customers internal and external.

13. Will handle multiple projects concurrently.

OTHER DUTIES

Perform other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to;

1. Cutting material with band-saw

2. Plasma Cutting Operation

3. General Building(s) Maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• industrial painting: 3 years (Required)
• Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
