Lakewood City schools is seeking a 6
hours per day (Monday - Thursday with 1/2 unpaid lunch) Preschool Classroom Assistant (Para-Professional) position for employment for the 2022-2023 school year.

The hours are 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
The position is to work with general education and special education preschool students ages 3-5.
Qualified candidate will be assigned to Lakewood City Schools and provide supervision to preschool age students position. Childcare experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma
2. Minimum of an educational aide certificate required. Paraprofessional license desired.
3. Prior experience working in an educational classroom setting, preferably preschool.
4. Demonstrated aptitude for the tasks involved.
5. Be courteous, tactful and understanding of young people.
6. Desire, ability, and patience to assist and work with students with special needs in learning.
