Trellis Services is hiring one-on-one instructors to work with children and adolescents (ages 10 to 21) with autism in their homes and in the community on non academic life skill goals. This part-time position (8 to 30 hours per week-afternoons, evenings and weekends) is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a child! Flexible hours and great pay! Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure
- Flexible schedules; afternoon, evening and weekend shifts
- Opportunities available throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Cecil, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties
- Ability to advance into other roles at Trellis
- Great foundation for a career in special education and related fields
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years old
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- The ability to pass a State/Federal Background Check
- Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License and Current Auto Insurance
- Minimum of 100 hours of working/volunteer or personal experience with individuals with developmental delays
