Job description

We are looking for a Part Time Recruiter to assist our Corporate Recruiter with talent sourcing, attracting candidates, interviewing and hiring great employees at a local level. A successful recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter has a willingness to learn and an interest in HR, prior experience as an HR Generalist, Staffing coordinator or Recruiter is ideal. Job has the potential to develop into a FT position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recruitment materials.
• Source and recruit candidates by using local schools and community resources.
• Provide social media content.
• Ongoing hiring events and job fairs.
• Act as a point of contact and build candidate relationships during the selection process.
• Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work.”

Skills

• Prefer candidates with prior work experience as a Recruiter, HR Generalist, or Staffing Coordinator.
• This is an ideal job for students pursuing HR degree
• Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
• Ability to contact local sources and develop a network with in the communities that serve our employees.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong decision-making skills
• Prefer bilingual candidate that can speak, read, and write Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Columbus, OH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Recruiting: 1 year (Preferred)
