DESCRIPTION:

This is a half-time position with the Cameron University Testing Center. This position will primarily cover evening and weekend hours of operation to total 20 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position would be responsible for checking in scheduled and walk-in students and providing back-up proctoring for full-time staff. This position may also assist Testing Center staff in administrative duties associated with test preparation and administration, vetting and correcting exam instructions received from faculty, and uploading exam instructions to third party proctoring services.

SUPERVISION:

This position will report to the Testing Coordinator

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Experience in front-line customer service.

3. Proficient with routine software installation and maintenance, and the use of Microsoft Office products. Be able to develop a good working knowledge of the university’s student information systems (Banner, Blackboard).

4. High level of integrity and ability to work unsupervised.

5. High attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience in a testing center with test proctoring.

2. Experience in handling confidential information.

3. Successful completion of college course work.

SALARY:

$11.78 per hour
