The Facilities Coordinator plans and directs administrative and facility-based activities. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, evaluating and supervising the off-site support staff in order to maintain the physical infrastructure of the facilities in order to meet the Joint Commission, environment of care, OSHA and ODH requirements.

- Monitors the work and acts as building leader for several onsite clinical departments
- Develops and maintains a professional working relationship with multiple vendors and contract services.
- Oversees high volume of expenses and personnel related to cleaning, HVAC, landscaping, etc.
- Schedules and monitors preventive and general maintenance tasks as well as larger construction projects.
- Effectively relates and interacts with internal and external customers and serves as a role model for others.
- Monitors inventory of office equipment and supplies, and places purchase orders as necessary for the on-site and off-site department facilities.
- Supports the development of annual capital and operating budgets regarding facilities and equipment.
- Participates in facility process improvement activities and assists the Site Director with data collection for the department.
- Coordinates and completes the JCAHO and EOC rounds at the facilities in support of clinical services.
- Responsible for quality accreditation, including JCAHO, OSHA and ODH compliance
- Ensures maintenance is provided and safety is endorsed for Close To Home/Urgent Care facilities.
- Oversees facilities with night and weekend hours. Fields and troubleshoots urgent after hours calls across several areas
- Demonstrates independence and extensive medical facility knowledge? Promptly resolves issues using high functioning problem solving skills
- Acts as liaison to property landlord and central campus Engineering leadership ? Facilitates resolution for operational issues involved in moving or opening a new facility.
Education:
High School Graduate
Skills:
Demonstrated leadership ability and self-motivation.Proficient in the use of a personal computer (Microsoft office products)
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Experience:
4 years of office experience with some supervisory responsibilities, preferably in a health care environment
