Patient Nutrition Assistant

We are seeking a Patient Nutrition Assistant to:

• Join our world-class team of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals in providing everything from preventive health care to highly specialized programs.
• Provide quality care in a compassionate patient- and family- centered environment.
• Deliver and collect patient trays, nourishments and snacks.
• Distribute, collect and pre-correct of patient menus.
• Act as a liaison between the patient, Food and Nutrition Services Department, and Nursing Services to ensure timely resolution of food service issues ensuring patient satisfaction.

Experience/Skills:

• Must possess exceptional customer service skills and demonstrate an ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff and with the patients, visitors and members of the community.
• Ability to respond to and resolve customer complaints.
• Successful completion of annual job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.

Licenses and Certifications:
Serve Safe Food Handler certification required to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent carrying, pushing/pulling and bending.

Pay:
SwedishAmerican offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.
