Patient Safety Attendant (PRN, Part-Time or Full-Time!)
Job description
SUMMARY: In collaboration with the care team, observe and monitor the physical, mental and emotional health and activity of a patient who is deemed to need continual observation. Will also support patient rounding efforts to ensure overall safety needs.
Options for PRN, Part-Time or Full-Time are available as well as days, evenings, nights and weekends.
Required Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent OR Advanced degree
Required Experience: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years old
Preferred Education/Training: Formal education in the medical and/or behavioral health field
Preferred Experience: Experience de-escalating volatile individuals; experience working with behavioral health patients
Location: Liberty Hospital ยท Nursing Resource Office
Schedule: Full Time, 6:45am-7:15pm OR 6:45pm-7:15am
