What you'll do:
- Proactively manage new and existing Bioventus customer relationships as assigned.
- Initiate and secure contracts with California IPA’s/HMO’s.
- Confirm process and protocols for BOTH referral process within IPA/HMO’s, and medication request from local Specialty Pharmacies.
- Partner with pharmacy directors, in addition to strategic partnership with local supply chain management and billing to team to ensure effective pull through of contracts.
- Support and provided continual education with local sales team to better discuss payer landscape with key accounts.
- Initiate and secure access for Copilot reimbursement hub to submit as 3rd party to IPA/HMO’s.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure unique customer and business needs are addressed and met (Market Access, Marketing, Sales Training, Professional Affairs & Medical Education, Field Reimbursement Managers, Credit and Collections, and Finance).
- Provide monthly reports of targets accounts and objectives and progress, and other reports as required.
- Contribute to scheduled business reviews to track progress of key accounts with Market Access, Marketing, Operations, Legal and Sales leadership teams.
- Hold oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus’ Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to the table:
- B.S/B.A. degree in Health Sciences or related area or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceuticals/biotech industry knowledge experience in related area.
- In depth understanding of the functions and procedures of hospital supply chain, IPA’s, HMO’s
- Understanding of California payer landscape complexities and how to win preferred position on contracts.
- Outstanding customer relationships, interpersonal and communication skills with the established ability to effectively communicate across diverse audiences and influence cross functionally.
- Proactive, highly organized and detail oriented. Highly effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Effective with Microsoft Office and contract management systems.
