PURPOSE OF THE PAYMENT PROCESSING TEAM LEAD:
Supervise and oversee payment processors as they process payments in collection software. Ensures that client expectations are met according to each client’s Agency Work Standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PAYMENT PROCESSING TEAM LEAD:
- Oversees daily payment processing done by payment processors to maximize productivity and accuracy.
- Post payments to proper accounts.
- Post adjustments as instructed
- Record insufficient funds to customer accounts.
- Run daily reports
- Process inactive checks for clients.
- Deposit Payments to bank
- Preform payment traces as needed (Audit prep)
- Oversees payment processing mailboxes to ensure all are handled with in a timely manner
- Oversees refund process
- Process or oversee daily deposit reconciliations
- Ensures all reports are delivered
- Adheres to the practices outlined in the Radius Global Solutions information Security Management system, including:
- On an ongoing basis throughout my employment, will understand and promote the Radius Global Solutions Security Management system.
- Being a full participant in the culture of security at Radius Global Solutions.
- Maintains client expectations by being accurate and thorough with all activities related to the individual business client accounts.
- Assist with compiling information for audits
- Accurately and efficiently inputs information in new business client’s forms that pertain to accounting.
- All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE OF THE PAYMENT PROCESSING TEAM LEAD:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience and/or training required.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Payment Processor or equivalent experience
- Candidates must have proven data entry skills.
- Excel experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PAYMENT PROCESSING TEAM LEAD:
- Proven ability to prepare accurate reports in a timely manner and to consistently meet deadlines.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES OF THE PAYMENT PROCESSING TEAM LEAD:
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a pleasant manner.
- Accurately entering information into Excel spreadsheets and proprietary accounting programs
- Proficient use of MS Excel and other software as needed.
- Ability to use good judgment, use decision making skills, prioritize, be organized and pay attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
WORKING CONDITIONS OF THE PAYMENT PROCESSING TEAM LEAD:
- This is a desk job in a standard office environment.
- Job requires working on a personal computer up to 8 hours a day.
- Job requires ability to use a 10-key calculator.
