• Prepare and process weekly payroll for hourly, salaried, and temporary employees; including reviewing and importing hours from the time and attendance system, entering tax and direct deposit information and administering regulatory requirements, e.g., garnishments, tax levies, and other adjustments to pay as necessary.
• Assist Drivers with the proper completion of paperwork and other payroll documents
• Administer the time and attendance policy and paid leave policy for all employees.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities positively and courteously.
• Facilitate audits when necessary, by providing records and documentation to Finance Team for quarterly and year-end audits. (Payroll, Workers Comp, 401k, OSHA, etc.).
• Produce scheduled and ad-hoc reports about payroll and human resources requirements.
• Assist accounting with month-end, year-end reconciliations, and reporting
• Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• At least 5+ years of experience administering payroll and benefits processes is required.
• Work experience should include a strong understanding of payroll and benefits administration and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of software applications including payroll, benefits, time & attendance. Experience with ADP is a must.
• A high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills and ability to create valuable and actionable reports from data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization skills, ability to complete multiple tasks, and a high volume of work on deadline.
• A creative outlook with a problem-solving attitude.
• The ability to lift to 25 lbs.
• A Bachelor’s degree or relevant years of experience; PHR/SHRM-CP certification a plus.
