AimHire is partnering with an internationally recognized architectural consulting firm on an exciting search for a Payroll Coordinator! This person will work out of their Englewood, CO office and will be responsible for assisting the Payroll Manager in processing semi-monthly payroll for multiple companies. Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Collect and verify timesheets
• Maintain employee and payroll data within the timekeeping/payroll systems
• Handle multi-state tax account maintenance and setup
• Prepare and submit payroll, occupational and quarterly reports
• Complete and file state specific workers compensation
• Act as first point of contact for employee questions relating to payroll
• Process new employees, terminations, and promotions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Payroll Coordinator Requirements:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• This position requires a high degree of accuracy, time management and a fundamental understanding of multi-state payroll laws
• Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and respect for employee records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with tight deadlines
• Ability to work well with all levels of employees, building relationships and maintaining a high level of customer service
• Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word and Excel
