Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Corporate Controller, the Payroll Coordinator will assist with the full range of payroll-related operations, activities and services for the company and its employees.

What You Will Do:

  • Collect and review banking information for direct deposit setup and initiate deposit on paydays.
  • Maintain and document all payroll records.
  • Conduct required audit audits for payroll records.
  • Reconcile general ledger with regard to payroll transactions.
  • Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll.
  • Respond to employee and leadership inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
  • Ensure continuous familiarity with taxation of salaries, benefits and other factors.
  • Educate and train center-based staff on proper time approval and reconciliation process.
  • Assist with the completion of timely and accurate entry of employee time worked.
  • Assist with the timely and accurate processing of payroll.
  • Assist and educate employees on the company pay card direct deposit program.
  • Review and process employee expense reimbursement claims.
  • Other Non-Payroll accounting duties as assigned.

Qualification:

  • High School Diploma, GED (Required)
  • College Degree (Preferred)
  • Two or more years of experience processing payroll (Required)
  • Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated knowledge of payroll systems and related reporting
  • Experience in completing work time entry for multiple locations
