Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Controller, the Payroll Support Specialist provides support and training on the payroll and timekeeping software
Positions Requirements
- Maintain progress reports for annual projects.
- Organize and prioritize large volumes of information.
- Work independently and with a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
- Develop, revise and facilitate training.
- Conduct post-training follow-up to ensure training comprehension and implementation of newly acquired competencies.
- Review submitted paperwork to determine skill gaps and additional training needs, and schedule training refreshers when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of conducted training sessions and attendees.
- Effectively communicate changes in payroll policy and procedure, when assigned, to appropriate staff.
Serve as administrative support and point-of-contact.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- Long periods of sitting at a desk performing light physical work, including working at a computer terminal.
- Light physical work involving bending, lifting, and carrying up to fifteen (15) pounds.
- Talking and listening to communicate ideas or requirements to individual staff members.
- Visual acuity to listen attentively and accurately.
- Ability to work overtime as needed to complete general responsibilities to meet the needs of the unit or corporation.
