The Knolls of Oxford, a continuing care retirement community located in Oxford, Ohio, is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCA's) to work evenings (3p-11p) or night shift (11p-7a) in Assisted Living. A limited number of PRN opportunities are currently available. The starting pay for this position is $13.00 per hour; pay is based on experience/certification, plus a $1 shift differential for shifts beginning at 3pm or 11pm. CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but on-site training is available. COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for employment; however if applicable, medical and religious exemption submissions can be submitted and reviewed by the COVID committee prior to job offer.
As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), your position is to assist residents who are functionally, physically and/or socially impaired and need 24-hour oversight. The PCA will assist residents with those activities of daily living in which they are unable to perform on their own, fostering at all times residents' independence and freedom of choice. The PCA works as part of a cross-functional team.
