MDOT MAA is currently accepting applications for the position of Performance Management Analyst (Administrator I) within the Office of Organizational Development (OD) at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport). This position will assist the Performance Management (PM) section of the office, performing the duties described below:

• Assists in completing the implementation of key performance indicators (KPI) metrics visualization and management software, analyzing all organizational KPI metrics, forecasting trends, and identifying for executive leadership on a monthly basis areas where performance may need to be improved
• Assists with maintaining up-to-date procedures and end-user guidance documents coordinate with offices to make necessary, on-time updates to KPI data provides troubleshooting support to address technical end-user issues and serves as a backup software site administrator.
  • Conduct analyses of monthly key performance indicator (KPI) data with the Performance Management manager, including forecasting and comparing monthly, quarterly, or annually actuals and target organizational metrics.
  • Assist the Performance Management manager with maintaining accurate records and making necessary updates to KPI baselines start values, targets, and frequencies.
  • Assist the Performance Management manager with creating Excel reports, worksheets, and workbooks.
  • Document and maintain work procedures relevant to the position.
  • Support the Performance Management manager in the dissemination and collection of KPI-related information through communication with MAA staff.
  • Assist the Performance Management manager with providing Tier 1 help support for Tableau users:
    • Research and provide appropriate resources to end users.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues for end users and use escalation procedures when necessary.
    • Provide backup site administration support for Tableau. Examples include changing role permissions, general maintenance, and assigning licenses, and roles to users.

• This position can be trained on using the Tableau software program, if necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Four years of experience in administrative or professional work.

Notes:

1. Additional experience in administrative or professional work may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.

2. Additional graduate-level education at an accredited college or university may be substituted at the rate of 30 semester credit hours on a year-to-year basis for the required general experience.

3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience involving staff work related to the administration of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and processes, or overseeing or coordinating unit operations or functioning as a staff assistant on a year-for-year basis for the required education and experience.

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
