A successful executive in Southlake, TX, is looking for a controller to lead day-to-day financial needs of his holding company, personal office and investments. The controller will oversee corporate document control, payment of invoices, account reconciliation, create reporting packages, assist in the development of tax mitigation strategies, provide information for tax preparation providers. This position also administers investments (domestic and international), including regular review of reports from managers and reconciling investment reports. The office also handles bills and supports his residences. The ideal candidate will oversee financial and accounting services while providing advice and solutions.
Responsibilities:

• 
  Income tax filings- facilitate and manage, acting as primary point of contact with outside accounting firms.
• Point of contact for Estate lawyers, banks, auditors, insurance representatives.
• Investment portfolio tracking and reporting
• Prepare compliance information required by banking institutions (W-9, W-8BEM, KYC, CRS etc.)
• Cash management, payments, reconciliations, and reporting
• Philanthropic payments and reporting
• Insurance renewals and policy maintenance
• All other required filings such as FBAR and miscellaneous entity filings
• Maintain a schedule of investments and ledgers for trusts
• Maintain adequate cash flow by appropriately transferring between investment and bank accounts.
• Ensure all deadlines are met and that all reports are extremely accurate and can be relied upon.
• Assist with other financial activities as needed

Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• Strong background in accounting and a public/private experience mix
• Exposure to wealth management
• Strong technical skills including Excel spreadsheets, Quicken and QuickBooks
• Strong communication skills
• A track record of integrity, honesty, confidentiality, loyalty and discretion
