RWC is a continuing care retirement community. We provide care and services for senior citizens living independently and to those who need assistance with daily living activities or full nursing care.
Join our At Home Department where you will assist residents one-on-one with daily life activities. Our nurses often comment on how much they love the residents and are enriched by their life stories.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one care to residents in their home, apartment, assisted living suite, or health center room.
- Care varies from companionship to assistance with dressing, bathing, toileting, running errands, light cooking and cleaning.
Skills:
- Satisfactory completion of a nurse aide education program approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing
- Previous experience working with senior adults preferred
- Strong customer service skills a must
