Our client is seeking a dependable individual who is compassionate and caring for elderly clients. The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for assisting with daily care of the client, including grooming, medication management, cooking, cleaning and general home upkeep. The Personal Care Assistant will be required to provide state-of-the-art customer service, keep accurate records and maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions.
• Be familiar with cleaning products and their safe use.
• Help additional individuals with their bathing, dressing, and other personal care needs.
• Be able to lift and carry another individual weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be aware of the daily routine of the individuals being served and maintain that routine in a safe manner.
• Perform routine household chores like laundry, dishes, and vacuuming.
• Keep all areas where the client is living free of clutter.
• Know and follow proper safety procedures for first aid treatment and maintain first aid kit on hand at all times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.50 - $10.00 per hour
