BASIC PURPOSE: Sell and service Norwegian Cruise Line products to prospective guests who initiate contact directly with Norwegian Cruise Line. Make cruise reservations and sell cruise products to increase revenue. Deliver an overall superior customer service experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive inbound calls from potential cruise guests. Assist with any product related questions and identify guests' travel needs. Sell Norwegian Cruise Line utilizing knowledge of product features, benefits and pricing. Make recommendations to include promotions, itineraries, and auxiliary products such as stateroom upgrades, travel protection, special requests and other shipboard amenities.

Establish quality customer relationships by delivering superior customer service, establishing rapport, identifying and meeting customer needs and expectations to include meeting customer booking and revenue goals.

Acquire and maintain in depth industry and Norwegian Cruise Line knowledge in order to articulate cruise product features, benefits, pricing and make recommendations to include promotions, itineraries, and auxiliary products such as stateroom upgrades, onboard credits and other shipboard amenities.

Identify sales opportunities and attempt to close sale on the first call.

Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training in order to ensure use of appropriate sales techniques and use of accurate information communicated to potential guests.

Perform other job related functions as assigned.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1-year of sales experience in a call center environment. 2-years sales and customer service experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Ability to maximize sales and increase revenue. Ability to articulate ship features, benefits and destinations to direct guests while making reservations. Interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-based environment. Strong customer service skills to create a positive guest experience. Must be able to multi-task and work in a high energy sales and service environment that is goal/quota driven. Basic-level working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
