Activa Physical Therapy is growing and in need of rehab aides to assist our clinical team!

We are a Physical Therapist-owned 2 location private practice that is patient centered and results oriented. Our team is a motivated and close-knit group of focused people who bring out the best in each other and our patients. We have a family like feel unlike many of the large corporate facilities, and our co-workers are an extension of our family. Activa Physical Therapy is located in Naperville + Burr Ridge, Illinois. We have quickly become the go to local leader in outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy with a dedication to customer service and excellent quality care.

We are looking for a rock-star physical therapy aid/technician to join our team in Burr Ridge. An ideal candidate is a recent college graduate who is looking to enter the physical therapy profession in the future as a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant or a related field such as medicine, athletic tor personal training.

An ideal candidate is looking to gain valuable time working alongside physical therapists + patients to gain exposure in the field of outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine rehab, gain valuable clinical hours for their PTCAS application, and work with patients in a fun and dynamic environment.

Previous PT Aide's have a 97% first time acceptance rate to the graduate school of their desired field, and mentorship + application guidance is available to those interested.

We require that prospective PT Aide's sign on to the position for a contract term of at least 1 year. Please keep this in mind when applying for the position.

THE IDEAL ROCKSTAR CANDIDATE:

-Has a strong interest in the field of physical therapy and physical/exercise sciences with a desire to enter further schooling as a PT/PTA

-Must have care and compassion + empathy at the forefront of their work

-Must be solution oriented, proposing solutions to any problems that may arise

-Must help foster a professional environment that is friendly and welcoming to everyone

-Must display a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure each patient’s satisfaction

-Must have excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills

-Must be professional and respectful, and work with a positive attitude as a team player

-Must be both eloquent and assertive with words, yet able to navigate tough conversations

-Must be able to openly seek and ask for help, feedback and demonstrate an eagerness for knowledge and learning

-MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE FOLLOWING HOURS: Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM in its entirety and sign onto a 1 year binding contract.
